I think that the reason this is so amazing for many people is we get this idea of: oh the lions got the prey, it's all over!
Then the clip ends, but not here. Here we get the whole story, that an ENTIRE HERD would show up in force and create this kind of standoff... it's like the stuff in some kind of corny disney movie... the funny thing is it actually happened...

Luck comes in many forms but what these people experienced is a once in a lifetime chance sort-of-thing ... It is amazing how the hurd returns to save the baby buffalo, it just makes you think that animals are more than instinct.
